bluetooth arcade controller and imame on ios

Hi,

I was lucky enough to get iMame last week on my iPad when it was available. It an use the bluetooth iCade or iControlPad and I was wondering if the bluetooth arcade controller might work also? One of the things I've read is that the iCade does a special key off when you release a button. it's this that makes it work correctly. Otherwise it pushes key on and never does a key off.

Anyways, would love to build a real control panel to use with it and was wondering if anybody knew if it would work or not.

Hi Tony,

We have iCade compatibility on our "eventually todo" list, but when we looked into it, it didn't appear too difficult. The iCade sends a different character's key down press than the key up press. This can be done with the firmware on the Bluetooth module. Also, I do not believe we have confirmed that our bluetooth module pairs with iOS as a keyboard. It *should*, but we haven't personally tried it.
