Saving Your Programmed messages

Postby jwheaton » Fri May 11, 2012 1:42 am

Just a quick note.

I was able to use my iPhone to record the web page playback of the program (control/data) information.

I can successfully play back the recorded video while holding the iphone up to the sensor LEDs.

This is a crude, but pretty easy way to store your custom messages and reprogram the blinky with pre-stored information.

Thanks! Now, someone needs to make an app for iPhone that doesn't require internet that flashes the C and D boxes so I can reprogram mine at school!

Since it is written in Javascript it should be possible to save the page for offline viewing and use it whenever you want.

One of the things we have on our list here at WNL HQ is to redo the programming webpage, to make it more "wizardy", guiding people through the button presses and steps to get it into programming mode.

We have an internal, unpolished, unrelease-able Android app. We'd like to polish that up--and maybe do an iPhone version, depending upon interest.
